When Readiness Is a Decision, Not a Feeling
There are moments in a woman’s journey when everything she has envisioned begins to stretch her. Not gently—but deeply. The kind of stretch that questions your timing, tests your faith, and yet quietly affirms: You are already in motion.
I have come to realize that readiness is not always wrapped in certainty.
Sometimes, it comes clothed in doubt.
Sometimes, it sounds like a quiet whisper saying, "Keep going."
Even when there is still so much to figure out.
And so I rise—on days when the plan is clear and on days when I feel like I am building a runway mid-air. I rise not because everything is in place, but because everything in me knows this work matters.
I am a woman mid-flight—my wings stitched together with courage, quiet prayers, and moments of self-reminding.
This season has taught me the necessity of talking to myself differently.
Of offering myself encouragement even when the outside world offers none.
Of choosing to believe in the mission—even when the pace feels slower than I hoped.
If you are in that space—where you are working, building, hoping, adjusting—this is for you:
-
Keep showing up with grace.
-
Keep choosing vision over fear.
-
Keep speaking to yourself like someone who deserves to arrive.
Because you do.
And even when you do not feel ready, please know:
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are simply mid-flight—and that is holy ground.
